First thing, your life coach isn't a therapist. Your life coach will be your advocate, your mentor, your facilitator, your discovery guide and your cheerleader. Your life coach knows you have the answers to whatever challenges you face. They might also be your personal "horse-shit detector". Your life coach will support you in your journey. In alliance with your life coach, you will identify your values and learn how honoring these values can move you to living a full, balanced, whole-hearted life.

Life Coaching is not psychotherapy or counseling. It does not address mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association. Your coaching sessions are not a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, mental health care or substance abuse treatment. If you feel emotionally or psychologically stressed or distressed, or if you feel that your stress is interfering with your day-to-day ability to function, please seek help from a mental health professional. Your coach can give you referrals if needed.

Heart and Horse Coaching is based at the Wooden Nickel Ranch in Conifer Located just minutes off Highway 285, the ranch is a 40 acre haven for humans, horses and wildlife.

To cancel or reschedule your session, please contact Heart and Horse as soon as possible. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will receive a 100% refund or may be rescheduled. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session start time will not be refunded.

Prior experience with horses is not required. Your first session will include a demonstration of horses handling and safety practices around horses. Each session involves a thorough explanation of the exercises you will participate in.

It may be possible to work with your own horse during your sessions. Using your own horse can be helpful to you in your sessions, and can increase the level of connection and communication between you and your horse. Contact Louise to discuss this possibility.
